Akshay Kumar stars as Parghat Singh Kahlon aka Gattu, Anushka as Simran, Rishi Kapoor as Gurtej Kahlon, Dimple Kapadia as Mrs. Kahlon, Prem Chopra as Mr. Sahini, and Urban Desi rapper Hard Kaur Komal Chatwal. Other cast members include Rabbit Sack C who plays Aman Kahlon, Tinu Anand who portrays Mr. Bedi, Jeneva Talwar who plays Priti Kahlon, as well as Soni Razdan and Kumud Mishra.

Recently when John and Genelia D'Souza, who incidentally is his new co-star in the film FORCE, remake of KAAKHA KAAKHA, were munching together, John took hold of the opportunity and gave Genelia some lessons in healthy eating.
But, Genelia was in no mood to cut on her fried snacks. The actress continued munching despite John going on with his diet tips. As a result John had no option but to shrug his shoulders and walk away.
Well, with John going gaga about healthy eating, it seems no one is ready to hear him out on that for the moment. Not even his co-stars.

Patiala House movie is going to cast 32 sardars in one frame. Patiala House is a film based on sports with family drama. In Patiala House action hero Akshay Kumar is for the first time being paired with ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ girl Anushka Sharma. The film will once again bring back veteran actors Rishi Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia together as a couple. The movie is shot in a location and time which is relevant to 1979. The story of Patiala House is based on the life of a Punjabi boy (Akshay Kumar) residing in Southall, London who has an ambition to play for England cricket team. But when he gets a chance to live his dream his strict and anti-Britain Sikh father played by Rishi Kapoor stands against his dream. The main lead is confused as to whether he should go with the decision of his hard core Indian patriot father or pursue his dream. The movie emphasizes on son and father bonding along with their conflicting thoughts.
